RobbieCat is a sweet, chubby kitty, who will worm her way into your heart. She has a nervous, little friend named Peaches. They would both love to come and live with you. They promise not to scratch your furniture or to beg for treats too often. Best of all, they require no litter box, but will take over your bed if given the opportunity.

Special sparkly buttons were used to give their eyes a twinkle of mischief, but if she is made for a small child safety eyes or embroidery can be used to keep your small person safe.

RobbieCat was created as a memorial to a real life RobbieCat, who really did have a companion kitty named Peaches. RobbieCat passed away quite recently, but Peaches is still around.

This pattern would be excellent for using up leftovers and odd balls of wool from your stash. You can also make a magic ball of leftovers and knit a true tabby. Variegated yarn also helps produce tabby-like markings.

This incarnation of RobbieCat used Cascade 220 colors: 8891 (turquoise)8894 (bright green)8910 (pale lime)9421 (teal) 9561 (robin’s egg)
Peaches was created from oddments of Casablanca color Galah Cockatoo.
