This oven mitt is the April pattern for the Knotty Boys 2013 Calendar, published by Kate Jackson for her yarn shop, Knots.

A culinary artist and entrepreneur, Robert is the owner and chef of a euro-american bistro with his mother, father, and sister. His inventive cuisine and homestlye concept has helped make it a trendy and upcoming restaurant. Stop by and see Robert for some sauerkraut balls and schnitzel.

Materials:
200 yards worsted weight yarn, 100 yards each of two colors/yarns
(shown in Noro Kureyon, color 272, 50 grams and 109 yards per hank, and Plymouth Galway, color 173, 100 grams and 210 yards per hank - 1 hank of each).
Size 13, 16 inch circular and double-pointed needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.

--Correct gauge is not necessary for this project, as finished size will be established during the felting process. If you are an especially tight or loose knitter, however, do adjust needle size accordingly. The entire project is done with a double strand of yarn.--
