Robin Hill Cowl features a beautiful botanical lace motif along one edge and a garter stitch body worked in two-color stripes.

The project knits up quickly, making it perfect for gift knitting. The cowl is knit flat and then joined in the round using a three-needle bind-off. The style is easy to wear, adding warm but no bulk behind the neck.

Robin Hill cowl uses the same stitch pattern as Robin Hill Shawl pattern.

The pattern includes both charts and written instructions.

The cowl measures 18 inch / 46 cm from the front neck edge to the point.

Yardage required: approximately 160 m / 174 yds for the MC
approximately 80 m / 87 yds for the CC

The brown/beige sample is made with one skein each of Tosh Vintage in Court and Spark and Tosh DK in Resin.

The pale grey/cream sample is made with one skein each of Berroco Ultra Alpaca Natural in Jasmine Rice and Sunflower Seeds.

Many thanks to Teresa and Jasmin for test knitting this pattern.
