The pattern includes a section of the blanket to knit each day of Advent. The pattern pdf, at present, shows the meterage and notions to allow yarns to be sorted. The first section will be sent on the first day of advent.

The new pattern will be updated each day of Advent. This will be done by incorporating the new pattern section into the previous instructions to allow 1 complete pdf by the end.

It is split into 12 pattern and 12 plain sections plus the top edging.
The plainer sections allow a bit of catch up knitting if needed from the previous day.
The amount of knitting for the 2-3 smaller blanket patterns are easy to complete in one day, and I often did multiple sections in one day for the sample. Obviously this may be more difficult with the larger sizes.

Blanket has instructions for both 4ply and DK yarn sizes, just in case you happen to have a 4ply Advent calendar of yarn to use up :)

Yarn:
Either 4ply or DK may be used.

Blanket can be done in one colour or stripes with main colour in between.

4ply:
Stripes: 12 x 15/35/65/105/150 my and MC: 90/120/230/380/430m
One colour: 230/500/1000/1700/2400m
DK:
Stripes: 12x 20/45/80/140/195,m and MC:120/160/300/500/560m
One Colour: 300/650/1300/2200/3100m
Needles:
3mm (4ply)
3.75mm(DK)
Yarn needle.
Tension;
30st x 40 rows (4ply)
20st x30 rows (DK) measured across whole blanket
