As you can see I played around with the toes a bit! I used leftover KnitPicks Essential that I had laying around (thankfully) because I had miscalculated and ran out of yarn! Allow me to caution you, should you use the same yarn that I used, Pingouin Laine nylon, you will run out, should you think that you are running short you can always reduce the # of pattern repeats on the sock leg and/or, of course, stripe those toes! Also, most 50 gr balls of sock yarn have more than 200 yds per ball, which this kind has. All that to say, you will need at least 150 gr. of sock yarn!
FYI… my husband loves the different toes!

Of course, any fingering wt. yarn will be a wonderful replacement & striped toes are a decision between you & your feet .

My designs are also available on individual blog posts (as seen below) where you can increase the size of the photos which may be useful in st. pattern definition or a very good look at the design. Or you may find pattern steps detailed; techniques explained; additional pattern notes and/or tips, etc., depending upon the pattern.
