This close-fitting crewneck sweater features reinforced shoulder epaulets and elbow patches, much like a historic military commando sweater. The slipped stitch pattern detail on the elbows and shoulders adds a distinguished flare that sets it apart from the typical utilitarian version worn by those in uniform.

The Rockland Sweater is knit in the round from the bottom up, with set-in sleeves and a wide crew collar.

Errata:
The instructions for 2/1 RPC in the chart legend should read: Sl 1 st to CN, hold in back; K2; P1 from CN.

The symbols for 2/3 RC and 2/3 LC are reversed.
