This is a quick-to-hook cowl worked in an interesting wave stitch pattern in 2 or more colors of Aran or worsted weight yarn. The first round is worked carefully to establish the pattern. After that it’s a simple one round repeat for the remaining rounds. You’ll need 180 yards of a main color and 45 yards each of two colors or 90 yards of a contrasting color in an Aran or worsted weight yarn with a size H crochet hook. This makes a cowl that measures about 54” around x 6” deep. You can also make it with any weight of yarn using a hook size suited to that yarn. It’s easy to make it longer/shorter or wider/narrow depending on the size you want and how much yarn you have to use. As a bonus I’ve included instructions on how to work this as a long scarf with fringe. The 4 page pattern includes written instructions and a crochet chart.
