This is a reversible cowl with an irresistibly squishy texture! It’s knit back and forth and seamed. It can also be left unseamed and worn as a scarf. Both the length and width are easily adjustable.

The Rocky Roll Cowl was inspired by a fun visit to Old School Alpacas in Nipigon, ON. My husband and I were on vacation in the area, and while chatting with a friendly staff member at Ouimet Canyon, we found out about the alpaca farm and small shop nearby. I was limited to 2 skeins of yarn due to lack of space in our motorcycle sidebags. The fleece for the yarn I chose came from Rocky (the alpaca)’s neck, so why not make something to go around mine?

I knit the second sample in Lion Brand Heartland in order to be able to suggest a more readily available option. Since gauge is not crucial for this pattern, there are endless yarn possibilities!
