I am still fascinated with Bohus knitting and wristlets. They are oh so comfortable while typing on a computer in an over-cooled office!

REAL Bohus Knitting used many, many colors on a plain yarn background, and used purl stitches on a stockinette background to further blend the color. NO slipped stitches were involved. Yarns used were a fine wool at a very fine gauge, and the accent colors were in a fine wool/Angora rabbit blend that added a halo. Together, the many colors and the yarns used created a style of knitted colorwork that cannot be easily reproduced.

This second little pattern of mine hopes to tempt you to try Bohus.

Rocky is just adorable, don’t you think?

I used a plain wool fingering yarn for the background and a short repeat multi colored yarn (also wool) to give a hint of halo.
