A Capriciously Cabled Fable of a Sock, Designed for Experienced or Fearless Intermediate or Advanced Knitters.

I used the Fish Lips Kiss heel ($1 on Ravelry by SoxTherapist) but you can use any short row heel you like, or the fleegle. Links to both in the pattern.

Instructions are both CHARTED and written. You can do your cables with or without a cable needle (links to instructional videos are in the pattern).

You will need a set of 4-5 dpns, size 2.5mm (US size 1.5). You can also use a long (40” or greater) size 2.5mm circular needle for magic loop, or 2 shorter length to work the front and back sts on.

You will need a small size cable needle, if you are going to use one.

I used 100 gms of pink Knit Picks Stroll, and I have quite a bit left over, enough to do the toes and heels, and maybe the top inch of the cuff, for my next pair of socks.

You’ll also need a tapestry needle to weave in the ends, a tape measure, and some scissors.

Thank you, testers, for your quick knit of this pattern!
