This is an easy-to-memorize pattern that knits up relatively quickly for a piece of its size. If you make the baby blanket, you’ll need a machine washable worsted weight yarn suitable for a baby. The pattern takes up most of the recommended yarn, so if you use a different yarn be sure to get the correct yardage.
