Instructions are given for 2 types of yarn, both giving the same size.

For either yarn, 2 needle sizes are used - either 4.5 and 5mm for the Handpainted merino worsted (18stitches for 10cm) or 3.5mm and 4mm for the Schachenmayr Merino (24stitches for 10cm).
