YARN: 2 skeins (4 oz, 550 yards each) Expression Fiber Arts Pearlescent Fingering yarn. Shown in colorway: London at Night. If that colorway isn’t available, choose any fingering weight yarn (doesn’t have to be our Pearlescent Fingering). Just make sure to order at least 1000 yards (plus some if you’re a loose crocheter). If ordering our 100g limited edition Pearlescent Fingerings, those only have 478 yards per skein, so you’ll need to order 3 skeins.

SIZE : 45” x 21” Unblocked

US Size H (5.00 mm)

Notes From the Designer:

•A quick and easy pattern to practice increase and decrease stitches.

•Worked flat, back and forth in one piece. No seaming!

•Easy neck hole construction.

•Perfect pattern for any fingering or sport weight yarn.

•Excellent drape and cute styling for extra warmth on your shoulders when strolling along the beach.

-There is something romantic about walking along the beach with the one you love. With the wind blowing through your hair and the surf lapping at your feet. Sometimes though, the breeze can be a bit chilly, making a lightweight poncho a welcome addition to your summer wardrobe. This poncho is designed to be easy to wear when needed, while being small enough to tuck into your bag if you get a little warm.

-Simple increase and decrease rows of double crochet make this poncho an easy crochet pattern for beginners to learn neck shaping techniques without becoming overwhelmed by the stitches.

-I designed this poncho to be worked in one piece so that seams would not be necessary. The double crochet stitches add a reversible feature to the poncho so you will not struggle with having to find the correct side when putting it on.
