Romane is a first name used in France for little girls. Roman is a first name used in the UK for little boys. Yet, both names are pronounced exactly the same. Maybe Romane and Roman could share their cardigan…

Note: Either short or long sleeved, there is also an option to work the cardigan as an A-line (as pictured) or go for a straighter fit.

Needles and Notions

  • Cable needle, Stitch markers, Darning needle
  • 5 [5: 6: 6: 6: 7][7: 8: 8: 9] buttons 13 mm (½ in) diameter
  • Ribbon: 15 mm (⅝ in) wide, 30-60 cm (12-24 in)

Gauge
20 sts and 30 rows / 10 cm (4 in) over stocking stitch worked flat and worked in the round.
