The sock Rombix requires two different solid-coloured sockyarns. Lines of slipped stitches in the Matrix style - an easy-to-knit slip stitch cable technique - spiral around the socks, which are worked as mirror images of each other.
Only the sole is worked in stockinette stitch. Even though the pattern looks impressive, it is rather easy to knit: In each round, only one colour is used.
Instructions for heel and toe are not included; these are worked according to your preference. The pattern is charted.

Für die Socke Rombix werden zwei verschiedene unifarbene Sockengarne verwendet. Linien aus verkreuzten Hebemaschen im Matrix-Stil ringeln sich gegenläufig vom Bündchen zur Spitze, nur die Sohle wird glatt rechts gestrickt. Obwohl das Muster eindrucksvoll aussieht, ist es einfach zu stricken: In jeder Runde wird nur mit einer Farbe gearbeitet.
