What am I missing?
Romeo
A stranded stole pattern inspired by Renaissance textiles and the work of the Italian designer, Romeo Gigli and his love of ornate fabrics.
The sample was knit on 2.75mm/US2 needles with 2 colorshift yarns sets:
MC Wisteria Gradation 189gr/856yds/780m and CC Zinnia Bridge 145g/656yds/600m
Total yardage used: 713yds/650m of Wisteria and 574yds/524m of Zinnia.
Finished dimensions: approximately 68x17.5in/172x44.5cm.
The knitting includes back and forth stranding, bands of reverse stranding, and an edging of corrugated ribbing stripes. The reverse stranding prevents curling and creates a slightly pleated effect.
The pdf includes two charts and short written instructions. One chart is for the main version shown here, the other is for a variation with deeper bands of reverse stranding, and a different edging.
