This lovely vest is a great layering piece featuring a little pocket with unusual closure - a button loop that continues into a cable, asymmetrical front and short row shaping on shoulders and armholes.

The vest is worked in one piece to the underarm. From there, both fronts and back are worked separately and shoulders are shaped with short rows. Shoulder seams are joined with Three-Needle Bind Off and armholes are finished with a garter stitch edging that’s also shaped with short rows.

This pattern is printer friendly. You only need to print pages 2-6 for knitting instructions and pattern information, on page 7 you’ll find a gallery with more photos.
