This pattern incorporates a number of knitting techniques--sock heel, working around on dps, I-cord. If you know how to make socks, you’ll probably find it pretty easy. There are a lot of separate pieces, some knitted on, and some sewn, so it involves a fair amount of work. I hope I have explained everything clearly enough--it turned out to be pretty complicated. If you are an experienced knitter with a fiercely independent streak and a strong desire for a knitted chicken, this may be the pattern for you! Finished rooster is about 10” tall.
