This rustic shawl is worked from side to side, gradually increasing to a point, and then worked in gradual decreases to the original cast on width. The pointed eyelet lace along the edge adds a delicate finish to the border. Using the simplest techniques for lace and shaping, this is an ideal first shawl for a beginning knitter, but is also enjoyable for knitters of all experiences and abilities.

Please note, this shawl is knit using the fingering weight 14 WPI yarn in the Tobacco Root Valley yarn from Ranching Traditions Fiber.
