Three hat options for one! Based on my earlier design Ropey Skirt, this hat has various combinations of the same stitch patterns. Choose which option you’d prefer - or make them all!

Version 1 has a celtic knot repeated 4x around the hat.
Version 2 alternates the celtic knot, and a honeycomb column; repeated 3x around.
Version 3 has the celtic knot, honeycomb, and a strip of seed stitch; repeated 2x around.

The crowns of all three hats have been individually designed to suit their stitch patterns and create pleasing symmetry when seen from above.

Uses 180 yards of DK wool or merino, per beanie. You will also need 4mm and 5mm needles on a 40cm circular cable, and a longer cable with 5mm for magic loop (or 5mm DPNs) to work the crown.

Sized to fit teens to adults: brim 23cm wide (laid flat, unstretched) and height 22cm.
