Full of repeating linear motifs, Rosalind is a study in repeats. Its slow pattern of increases leads to a gentle slope that shifts quickly when the decreases begin.

This shawl is named in honor of Dr. Rosalind Franklin, the brilliant British biophysicist whose work with x-ray diffraction studies contributed to the discovery of DNA’s molecular structure. Her work also helped lay the foundation for structural virology. Curious about this pioneering scientist? Learn more HERE.
