This is the perfect little top for spring and summer: fun to knit and easy to wear. It’s named after the heroine of Shakespeare’s As You Like It, who dresses as a boy to escape from an evil duke and hides out in the forest of Arden. The play is full of lush natural imagery, and I’ve tried to capture some of that in the leafy motif that adorns this cardi.
