I designed this earflap hat for the coming winter season which is forecast to be cold and long in our region. The yarn (DROPS Andes) is super soft and cozy, and the faux cables add extra thickness to the hat. I love how the earflaps turned out, they feel so nice and warm on my ears, no more pulling down hats that don’t want to cover my ears properly. I was so happy with my hat that I wanted to share it and I hope you will enjoy it, too!

The size can easily be adapted for children by using smaller yarn and needles. The way it’s written, it’s a women’s size, but by using a slightly bulkier yarn or even by just going up a needle size, it should fit men, too.

If anyone is interested I can provide a German translation.
