My daughter noticed that her brother was getting a ton of positive attention everywhere we went, and she was starting to feel a bit left out, so I made her a feminine ruffled hat scarf, and now she is sharing in the positive attention. I made her hat scarf from 4 skeins of Malabrigo handspun angora, but you can use any worsted to aran weight yarn. This is a stretchy design, and it would fit a child from about 5 to about 10. Pattern is written for this size, but gauge is rather unimportant, and once you read the pattern, you’ll see that it is easily modifiable to fit any side head, any needles, any yarn.
