Inspired by the pretty miniature roses in bloom around my birthday, this easy triangular shawl features pretty rose motifs and stockinette sections, divided by garter stitch bands. The shawl is a medium-sized shawl, perfect for wearing around the front in a kerchief fashion.

The stocking stitch sections are great for showing off a special yarn.

This pattern features both charts and a written-out pattern. The lace pattern is simple enough to be easily memorized, and the lace and stocking stitch sections can be switched around as you desire. You can add more sections to make the shawl larger if you have more yarn. All stitches are explained in the “abbreviations and techniques” section.

Requirements:
Fibrewebs Silk Merino Sock (50% Merino, 50% Silk), 4ply fingering.
4mm circular needles
2 stitch markers (optional)
Tapestry needle

Finished measurements: 142cm span, 57cm spine.

Skill level: advanced beginner

This is my first real design and I hope you like it!
