I love experimenting with shapes and textures. This one I wanted a 6 sided flower with flowers within. I added a ruffled edge to the rose within in the design for added texture and interes. I was try to see how graduating colors would look with the flowers and the edging. This doily is one that is included in the book Irish Beauty Doilies from Annie’s Attic.
