Although this is listed as lace weight, you could also use fingering weight yarn. Look in the projects to see examples. I have given instructions to change the width/length, so there should be no problem in adapting to suit your preferences.
Please note: that the ch8 at the beginning of a row counts as the first dc & ch5 of the first V-st. This note is included the V2 version of the pattern (and that is the only change from the original). Thanks for the suggestion, I-hook!
I have just added Nesnems’ joining instructions to make this pattern into a cowl or infinity scarf. It is in a separate file that comes along with the pattern. Thank you so much Nesnems!
And here is a blocking tip from mjotread which is very helpful. ” I originally blocked 11 in. by 86 in. doing most of the pulling lengthwise. Then I noticed the roses show up better if the pattern is fully blocked across the width so I reblocked, re-steamed to 13 in wide and it did NOT lose any length.”
