This top is knitted from the neck down. Starting with a pair of 3.5mm needles to form the yoke and the armholes, the bodice is knitted in the round once you have joined the button band so a 3.5mm circular needle is required. The sleeves are then knitted in the round using the magic loop method so the top is seamless. The only finishing required is to thread in the loose ends and sew on two 10mm buttons.

The pattern uses the following stitches: knit, purl, yarn over, knit 2 together.

The pattern includes four size options to fit, 34, 37, 40 and 43 inch bust.

The example shown is the 34inch bust knitted using 2.5 balls of the suggested yarn which is Jody Long Alba a sport weight yarn.
