The Rosie Shawl is a large crescent shawl in the style of my other “Family Member” shawls. She was designed when the idea to stripe the knit and purl pattern used in the Rachel shawl in the same way as in Alexander was conceived. Rosie is named after my cousin. She is Alexander’s big sister, so she is definitely related to both Rachel and Alexander!
The main body of the shawl is a variation of a garter rib pattern which is easily memorisable making this a relaxing knit. There are fewer purl stitches than in Alexander though…that might make some people happy!
