The Roskilde Cowl was designed out of necessity. I needed something soft, warm and pretty that wasn’t too bulky and would stay in place when I commute to and from school and work on my bike. I wanted something that would be pretty yet useful and easy to wear. And something that I could wear on top of a sweater on cooler days as well as hide under a warm coat on freezing cold and snowy Winter days.
The cowl is knit top down. At the cast on edge it features simple colorwork and different textures due to the nature of the two yarns. An easy lace pattern and a ribbed edge finishes the cowl.
This is definitely a knit that can be finished in a day or three. Easy and satisfying.
