Rossdale is a stranded, unisex sock pattern named after one of the oldest neighbourhoods in my hometown of Edmonton, Alberta. The repeating stitch reminded me of tile work that is showcased in some of these older homes that have been lovingly preserved over the past century.

Using an all over stranded stitch pattern, choose two highly contrasting colours to create a bold sock, or choose two more closely related colours to create a subtle look. Constructed top down with a turn heel, this is the perfect warm pair to make for yourself or somebody you love.

Techniques Used:

  • Knitting in the round
