I chose the yarn for this shawl because it’s a sweet, rosy shade of peachy-pink. I chose pearly colored 6/0 glass beads (you’ll need 645 of them) to contrast with the yarn color. Every stitch of this gorgeous shawl was used to cement my goal of gaining back some of the optimism that I’ve lost in recent years.

This shawl design is a bit shallower than some of my more recent designs. It will work up quicker because of that. The beads, as always, are optional. The pattern includes a large, easy-to-read chart for the lace. Also included are written directions for the chart for those who’d rather not work from a chart. There are short rows for the crescent shaping. Complete instructions included for hooking on the beads and short rows.

Rosy Outlook is a wonderfully feminine, shawl. It’s big enough to wear different ways to compliment your outfit. This will make a wonderful, impressive gift in any color you choose. Use beads that coordinate or contrast and have fun with this one!
