This is a textured cowl and wrist warmers pattern, designed during the Ravellenic games for the Colourmart scrap set challenge. It is worked using five different colours and has a lovely texture to it. It can of course be worked in only one colour or as many colours as you wish.

It is an intermediate level pattern using post stitches, clusters and a variety of other stitches to give the final texture.

It is very handy to provide warmth around your neck without having to worry about it falling off, it also doubles as a headwrap. You could make the cowl narrower and use it as a headband as well.

The cowl and warmers as a set uses about 440mts/500yds of yarn, I used Colourmart efm which is a dk/8ply but some of my testers have modified it successfully to use worsted weight yarn.

Roughcut Diamonds has been tested by the wonderful testers in the Happy Hookers Hangout.

This pattern has been tech edited by the wonderful (and patient) boricuacrochet who can be found here on Ravelry if you are in need of a tech editor.
