2/5/2016: Errata - Found in the Narnia KAL. Row 3 of the crowns says: “Row 3: In CC, in decrease sections only, knit 1, k2tog, slip knit stitch over dec stitches. Knit next 5 stitches in pattern.“
Should read “Row 3: In CC, in decrease sections only,
knit 1, k2tog, slip knit stitch over dec stitches, slip 1. Knit next 4, slip 1 (as pattern). Repeat entire row.

Twisted rib to make the ribbing edge stand out, slipped stitches to carry the ribbing color throughout the rest of the project.

This pattern can be adjusted up or down in size by adding or decreasing 10 stitches. (5 would work for the main body but 10 keeps the pattern intact over the crown decreases.)

I used a total of 64 grams of yarn - 44 grams in the main color, 20 in the contrasting color.

This project can easily be done in a single color, the slipped stitch will still give definition and style to the overall project.
