The hotpad is worked with one strand of yarn. The technique used will create a hotpad/potholder that will be as thick as two stranded hot-pad without the added strain on your hands.

The hotpad/potholder is big enough to sit a medium size pot/pan. When finished the diameter of the hotpad is 10”(if gauge is followed).

You will need a little more than 1 skein of yarn to complete a hotpad/potholder.
