In the quest to make better knitters of us all, we asked Charlotte Quiggle to design a fun and easy pattern for beginners. The result is an affordable, quick knit with plenty of style. Even the most experienced knitter will proudly say, ‘I knit it.’

“Top-down raglan sweaters often seem to knit up more quickly than others. The shallow funnel neck is suitable for any knitter’s first attempt at a top-down garment as there is absolutely no neck shaping. Pick up your needles and yarn, cast on, and go! Along the way, you can try on the sweater and make minor adjustments for an individualized fit. After the last bind-off there are no seams to sew. Weave in the ends, give it a steam block, and wear it out the door!”

• Small (Medium, Large, X-Large)
• Underarm: 41 (43.5, 48.5, 53.5)“/104 (110.5, 123.25, 136) cm
• Length: 23 (23, 24, 25)“/58.5 (58.5, 61, 63.5) cm

• Size US 10.5 (6.5 mm) circular needle, 16”/40 cm and 29”/74 cm
