Rowanberries cowl is knit bottom up in the round on circular needles in two colour brioche stitch pattern. The knitting starts and finishes with the regular cast-on and bind-off methods. Alternatively, any other advanced cast-on and bind-off methods, specifically recommended for brioche knitting, can be used.

The instructions are given to knit a cowl in colour blocks as shown in the featured image, where two colours are used in the foreground, while the background colour remains the same throughout.

The pattern includes BOTH charted AND written instructions.
