Originally, this bag was the “Black Cherry Tote” because it reminded me of my fav ice cream. But then Mike (the hubs) said I should name it my big ole ball sack, and it made me giggle, so that’s what it is.

One of my testers, Raechel of CraftyMama Creations, has created a free flower applique pattern to go with this bag. You can find it and her other amazing designs here on her ravelry page

I would rate this pattern as beginner friendly, you need to know how to chain, single crochet, half double crochet and reverse single crochet.

This is a REALLY Generous sized bag. It measures 17 by 12 inches, and has a 36 inch circumference. I’m able to get quite a bit of yarn in there!!

I have to say, I can’t sew much beyond buttons lol, as a non sewer, I think it’s a pretty easy. I did the lining by hand. You could easily cut down a pillowcase to line this. I found this awesome fabric in a box at a flea market, and loved it. It wasn’t much, just a couple of squares, and set it aside until I could find something to use it for. I love the contrast between it and the yarn. project.

This bag is a great stash buster, you can change color every row, or make one in a solid color, it’s very versatile!!
