Did you wake up before dawn to watch the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge say “I do”? Have you subscribed to the official royal twitter feed so you are notified as soon as baby Cambridge is born? To keep your hands busy while you wait for the royal announcement, I present the Coronation Ermine Robe Afghan! Wrap your favorite baby in this snuggly blanket to show off your Anglophilia. Made with bulky yarn and large hooks, this afghan works up very quickly; everyone will be impressed by your luxurious creation, and you don’t have to tell anyone the secret of how easy it really is. This blanket is soft, squishy, and very decadent in appearance and feel. You need bulky weight yarn, approximately 500 yards (Lion Brand Homespun in Cherry and Hometown USA in White and Black are pictured), and US sizes N (9 mm) and P (11.25 mm) hooks.

I offer free pattern support, so if you have any questions or need help, feel free to message me through Ravelry (pemberley816) or email me at sweetheartsstitches@gmail.com.
