I was asked to design this pattern for some beautiful new yarn that The Sassy Sheep has started to carry and this pattern popped into my head. The hat shows the drape that the cashmere and silk give to the yarn beautifully. This pattern also works very well with anything from highly variegated to semi-solid to solid colored yarns.

The sample hat weighs 47g and test knits only went up to 50g.
