Bright colors add a dash of peacock-like boldness to any decor. A super bulky yarn made from recycled saris makes for a quick knit.

Make it to fit 14” (35.5 cm), 16” (40.5 cm), or 18” (45.5 cm) square pillow.

When I was given this yarn, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with it as this is not the sort of yarn I’d normally choose to work with. Working with mitered squares is a fun way to explore working with a yarn that’s new to you. Needing only 49 stitches for the smallest size, you can be assured that each side won’t take long to complete.
After working the first square, stitches for the second square are picked up along the sides with the slipped stitches. The two open sides are grafted together for a visually seamless pillow.

Proceeds from the sale of this pattern will be donated to charity.
