PATTERN NOTES
This beautiful rectangular shawl contains wedding motifs, including hearts and horseshoes, and is edged using the beautiful Queen’s Edging stitch pattern. The shawl has a garter stitch background, so all wrong side rows are knitted.
The pattern is only given in charted form and some experience of working a knitted-on edging would be useful.
The first stitch of every row of the centre panel is slipped, to give a smooth edge for picking up stitches for the edging.
The finished shawl will fit through a wedding ring
