VERSION 2 - PATTERN UPDATED 9TH DECEMBER 2011 WITH CALRIFIED SHAPING INSTRUCTIONS AND MISSING SIZING INFORMATION. PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE KNITTING WITH THE RIGHT VERSION!

In the cold of winter when the light is stark and brilliant and you want to go out and play in the lane ways and parks, amongst the bare trees and muddy fields, best put on a thick sweater with lots of layers underneath to poke out of arms and under waists, and wrap your neck against it’s high rib.

A quick and easy knit for little bodies which need to be kept warm.

The body is knit in one piece and the ribbed neck and cuffs picked up and knit into the garment. It is wide and sits at the hips, with a gentle batwing sleeve which gives it a nice drape across the shoulders and arms.

Easily adjusted width and length wise to suit your child.
