This pattern is written for knitting with 5 DPNs, but you can also work these socks with the magic loop technique. These socks are knitted from the cuff and down, heel-flap and decreases for the gusset. Ribbed knitting, heel and toe are knit with one color and the rest of the sock is worked in stranded color knit.

European size:

Gauge in stranded knitting:
28 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4’’)

Tools:
5 DPNs 2.5 mm (US 2) or

The socks cuff and leg measure 16 centimeters (6 ¼”) without the heel. If you want a shorter leg, you can start on round 17 after you have worked the ribbed knitting. This will give you a leg that is approx. 5 cm (2”) shorter.

This pattern has reversed colors if your MC is the darkest.
