Photo caption “Make a sweater fit more like an elegant blouse. This draped design is flattering, eye-catching, and unique - yet quite simple to execute! There’s nothing to it but increases and decreases placed along construction lines. The knit ribbon yarn is dressy without being too glitzy.”

Sizes
XS - 35” underarm, 19 1/2” length
S - 37” underarm, 20” length
M - 39” underarm, 20 1/4” length
L - 41” underarm, 20 1/2” length
XL - 43” underarm, 21” length

The example shown is size medium, using Lion Brand Glitterspun Silver, #150.

The body pieces are knit-up separately, then seamed together in the finishing stage. The neckband is picked-up from the completed body and knit on.

Short row shaping is employed in knitting the front piece.

Additional gauge
20 sts and 30 rows to 4” over rib pattern, slightly stretched, using larger needles.
