The ruffle edged jacket is a delight to wear with its lacy pattern and cute ruffled edge.

It makes the perfect spring or fall jacket to wear over a pretty dress, or adds a feminine touch to a more casual outfit like teeshirt and jeans. Should your doll wish to wear this jacket in the summer then there is an option for short sleeves too.

Knitted in sock yarn, lace yarn or UK 4ply yarn this jacket is bound to become one of your doll’s favorite jackets.

The ruffled edge is made with a k3p3 rib. The stitch pattern of the main garment is a simple striped lace pattern.

The jacket front is cleverly constructed to use the bound off edge as the armhole, which means the curved front edge is actually knitted straight! The jacket fastens with a single button at the neck.

This PDF knitting pattern is designed to fit 18” dolls such as American Girl®.
