This is my favorite prayer shawl pattern. I came up with it after trying various patterns and not liking them much for one reason or another.

This is fast, easy and gives a great result. Perfect TV or waiting room knitting.

The ruffled edge stands up to make a very pretty neckline treatment when worn. I’ve done this in various yarns, including DK weight, which won’t have as much body. Mohair/cotton made a very pretty shawl with little stitch visibility. Lovely to wear, though.
