This is just too cute! The little sunhat (for every season) is quite stretchy and may begin to fit babies as early as three months and still fit up to possibly two years. (The little model pictured is actually 25 months!

It is knit on circular needles in the round with very soft acrylic yarn, which makes it machine washable (it is suggested that you let it air dry). There are no irritating seams to sew or to bother your child’s head. For those who love knitting in the round, it is quite easy and quick to knit. The pattern uses a garter stitch for all of the hat and rose (on circular needles, this will mean knit one row, purl one row; on the leaf it will be all knit stitches). The border on the ruffle is half-double crochet and single crochet.

Additional Gauge: 19 stitches and 38 rows on #8 needles
