The Sensations Angel Hair is marked as a bulky weight 5, but I have also made this scarf with worsted weight varieties. The gauge for Angel Hair uses a size 11 needle, but in this pattern, I found that a larger needle gave the scarf more texture and definition.

The number of yards needed depends on your preference for length of the scarf.
