This is a fun and versatile wrap for keeping warm on a chilly spring evening (we know all about those here in Wisconsin). The body of the wrap is a simple stockinette – reverse stockinette stripe pattern, which contrasts with the flirty, ruffled border. I’ve used a picot bind off for a very feminine look, but you could also knit two rows of garter stitch and then bind off, for a straighter edge.

The yarn I’ve used is Paton’s Katrina, which has a bit of shimmer and is quite elastic when knit up. The elasticity of the fabric allows this wrap to be worn either around the shoulders fastened with a pin, or around the neck as a scarf.*
